Tonight is the winter solstice,
If you are sensitive to the natural rhythms of nature, it is worthwhile paying reverence to this occasion.
Our bodies are made of earth and water (and all things sugar and spice!)
Re-connecting with what we are made of humbles us yet at the same time gives us a sense of the immediacy of the spirit that flows through our systems and gives us a sense of awe of what we are.
Both earth and spirit, we balance between the spheres, learning to love beyond what as children we though possible.
Light a candle (and let it burn to extinction) to celebrate the cycles of incarnation. Hosanna in the highest and lowest. Peace be with you, limitless light, absolute harmony, eternal duration.
